SUMMARY:Boys Who Dance Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:Boys who Dance Town Hall\nWatch Live on CBJ’s Facebook & YouTube Channels\nCBJ presents the very first public town hall dedicated to “Boys Who Dance”. How do we support boys in their dance journey – as their family\, their educators and their community?  And how do we change public’s perception of boys who dance\, how do we combat public’s bias & bigotry? The panel composed of healthcare expert\, educators\, artists and students will answer these and many other questions. We will be also taking questions from the audience. Whether you are a parent or sibling of aspiring male dancer\, a school teacher or principal\, an established professional dancer or a young dance student\, a healthcare professional\, or just an arts lover and performance attendee – join us for this important and overly due discussion. Together\, we will find practical solutions to create a supportive and inspiring environment for all the boys and help them realize their dreams. \nPanel Participants \nDr. Wendy Craig\, O.C. \nScientific Director of PREVNet\, Professor of Psychology at Queens University.\nHer research program focuses on healthy relationships\, bullying and victimization\, and knowledge mobilization. \nDerek Sangster\nAssociate Director of George Brown Dance\n \nDerick Robinson\nDancer\, Hip-Hop Teacher\, George Brown Dance Faculty Member \nCallum McGregor\nDancer with Canada’s Ballet Jörgen \nJustin Rapaport\nDancer with Ballet BC \nJonathan Renna\nGuest Principal Character Artist with The National Ballet of Canada \nBen Rudisin\nPrincipal Dancer with The National Ballet of Canada
