Free In-Person Ballet 101 Programs: Presented across Canada!

Ballet 101’s are designed especially for children and youth and introduce the audience to dance through a combination of performance and participation. The program provides opportunities to see high-quality professional dance presentations while learning about ballet as a storytelling medium. The interactive component teaches basic dance positions and allows participants to discover their own ability to convey emotions through movement. This free program serves as an introduction to the performing arts while also educating the public about the history of dance.

Introducing Ballet 101: Delving Deeper Online Series

Each episode introduces the viewer to various components of ballet – its history, some basic ballet positions and movements – and includes an excerpt from our repertoire of classical and contemporary works. Good for all ages and abilities. Join our dancers from the comfort of your classrooms or living rooms, and experience the magic of dance!
