This lesson focuses on reversing the Rond de jambe à terre, going from the back to the front which is called ‘en dedans’. Being able to reverse directions is a standard part of ballet training that adds new dimensions to your dancing.
In this lesson you will learn:
- How to use turnout to keep your hips open and maintain a correct line
- Learn how to trigger and maintain a turnout in reverse direction and how this feels different from performing a turnout en dehors
- Understand the three important markers that will help you form the correct shape when performing Rond de jambe en dedans
