Education Outreach Program Coordinator
Job Description
The Education Outreach Program Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support for Jörgen Dance Academy’s Summer Dance Intensive Programs. These programs offer summer dance training for students from ages 9 to 20. There are five levels designed for different abilities, ranging from beginner to emerging artists seeking a professional career in dance. The primary objective of the Company’s Summer Dance programs is to build knowledge and skill across age groups and geographies. The work provided by the Education Outreach Program Coordinator will help ensure the Company can meet this objective.
Main tasks for the Education Outreach Program Coordinator include administrative work on program preparation and registration, supporting student orientation, and providing assistance for students, parents and guardians. The ideal candidate will have an interest in performing arts administration or education.

This job is made possible through the Government of Canada’s Summer Jobs Program. Candidates must be between 15 and 30 years of age AND be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
Employment Length:9 Weeks
Start Date:June 15, 2026
Hours: 30 hours per week
Compensation:$17.85/Hour

Production Assistant
Job Description
The Production Assistant provides administrative, logistical and production support for Jörgen Dance Academy’s Summer Dance Season. This season offers dance training for students from ages 9 to 20 and produces in-theatre and in studio performances. It is also the season for planning the upcoming busy and intricate fall and winter seasons. The primary objective of the Company’s Summer Season is to build knowledge and skill across age groups and geographies while also planning the details for the upcoming fall and winter season. The work provided by the Production Assistant will help ensure the Company can meet this objective.
Main tasks for the Production Assistant include administrative, logistical and production support for performance preparation and presentation during the summer dance season. This includes rehearsal scheduling and tracking, music delivery, props, set & costume supervision, and organizing production meetings for the performance team. Another main task includes planning and organizing details for events that occur in the fall and winter seasons through work on warehouse organizing, maintenance scheduling, inventory, and research. The ideal candidate will have an interest in performing arts production.

Ballet teachers will potentially be called upon to teach for the company; all teachers may be asked to substitute for George Brown Dance classes. This may lead to contracts for regular classes during school terms.
