Ballet Jörgen’s 2025/26 Tour Begins!
Toronto, ON — Ballet Jörgen is proud to announce its 2025/2026 season tour, bringing world-class Canadian ballet to communities across the country. Known for its dedication to accessibility and authentic Canadian storytelling, Ballet Jörgen continues its mission to make ballet a meaningful part of people’s lives in both large cities and smaller communities.
- Sleeping Beauty – one of the world‘s most famous classical ballets tells the enchanting story of Aurora and her prince complete with its inherently magical qualities and dazzling choreography.
- The Nutcracker: A Canadian Tradition – Holiday magic is made year after year by Ballet Jörgen’s Canadian treasure to Tchaikovsky’s well-loved score, this delightful classic is a family favorite with an iconic Canadian maple twist.
- A Midsummer Night’s Dream – A whimsical new ballet that reimagines Shakespeare’s beloved comedy through a distinctly Canadian lens. Set to Mendelssohn’s enchanting score—this original production transports the tale of love, mischief, and magical fairies into the heart of Canada’s northern landscapes. This playful, family-friendly ballet captures the wonder of the wilderness and the timeless joy of Shakespeare’s story for audiences of all ages.
The 2025/2026 tour will reach 39 communities across 8 provinces, continuing Ballet Jörgen’s long-standing commitment to sharing ballet with audiences who may not otherwise have access to live dance performances.
