Utako Hanada

Utako is from Fukuoka, Japan—the home of Hakata tonkotsu ramen. She has trained in classical ballet and performed in both Japan and Canada. 
 
When she isn’t dancing, she is usually crocheting and rarely goes anywhere without her yarn and a crochet hook. Utako is excited to spend the summer with Ballet Jörgen and looks forward to growing as an artist and learning from this inspiring community.
