Join us to watch our George Brown Dance Commercial Dance Students in Hip Hop as they train in class with Derick Robinson! George Brown Dance Commercial Dance is a 12-month certificate program graduating professional triple-threat dancers ready for a career in commercial dance.
Admission is free but registration is required.
George Brown Dance is a partnership between Jörgen Dance and George Brown Polytechnic.
With over 20 years of experience, Derick is a seasoned educator and performer with extensive knowledge of the commercial industry. A few of his credits include performing with Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Nelly Furtado, Jully Black and Janelle Monae. While also appearing in films such as Trap, Sneakerella, Full Out and the Salt N Pepa biopic. After dancing for the Toronto Raptors North Side Crew for 5 years, he has transitioned into the role of assistant choreographer for the crew. He is a seasoned educator with knowledge in Hip Hop, Commercial and Street Dance dedicated to helping his students be the absolute best version of themselves both on and off the stage.
