Created by Artistic Director and CEO Bengt Jörgen, this version of Swan Lake unfolds in New France at the Fortress of Louisbourg on Cape Breton Island during the early 1700s, blending the beauty and drama of the classical ballet with Canada’s rich cultural heritage. The result is a fresh and engaging interpretation that remains true to the romance, enchantment, and emotional power of the original masterpiece.
