Cinderella – Local Participant Program

The Cinderella Local Participant Program gives young dancers the opportunity to perform with a professional dance company. They interact with professional dancers and gain invaluable performance experience as they dance with Ballet Jörgen.

Ballet Jörgen is looking for a total of 2-4 dancers ages 14-17 to perform with the company in their performance of Cinderella

The cast will be assembled from local area students, based on a recommendation by their dance teacher. The cast will rehearse with the Company for 3-4 hours on the day of the show.

The candidates will need to learn the choreography quickly, listen well, and follow and retain directions easily. They must have good stage presence and carry themselves well. There are few ‘formal’ dance steps.

*All roles and requirements are subject to change. COVID protocols and parameters will be determined by each individual venue and presenter.*
