Ballet Jörgen brings Cinderella to Halifax.
“This was a great show…many positive comments from patrons on their way out. I sat beside a young girl…that was enthralled and leaning forward on her seat through both acts. Giggling at some of the antics onstage. The dancers received a standing ovation at the end – well deserved.” – Presenter, Fort McMurray, AB
Toronto – Halifax: One of Ballet Jörgen’s most popular productions Cinderella is coming to Halifax on May 3 and 4.
The performance will include 8 aspiring young dancers from 6 Halifax area dance schools performing as part of the Company’s Local Participant Program. Participants were selected through an application process and will rehearse with the Company prior to the performances.
The performances will also include Hannah Mae Cruddas who has been a Ballet Jörgen Company Member since 2012. Ballet Jörgen is committed to making the arts accessible to all Canadians and has been programming dance across Atlantic Canada since early 1990’s.
Ballet Jörgen brings The Dance for All Project to Atlantic Canada
“It was very interesting to see so many different works by different choreographers. Loved the scarf dance. Seeing a full ballet is awesome as well, but enjoyed seeing the different dance forms with various influences.”– Audience Member, Cranbrook, BC
