Canada’s Ballet Jorgen brings Anne of Green Gables – The Ballet to Mountain States for mini U.S. Tour

“The audiences throughout Canada and the USA are in for a real treat.”
–
Heirs of LM Montgomery

After successfully launching the World Premiere Tour of Anne of Green Gables – The Ballet™ with sold out performances in Halifax, NS and Markham, ON the Company has now embarked on its first multicity United States tour in a decade. Performances just wrapped up in Orem and Logan, Utah, where they were met with tremendous audience responses.

“Let me begin by thanking you for this herculean endeavor… The dancing/performers were superb! The costumes were superb! The set designs and execution were superb…Thank you so much for your deep effort to bring this everlasting story to life in the framework of ballet.” – Orem, Utah Performance Attendee

The US tour continues this week with performances in Fort Collins, Colorado and Rexburg, Idaho. CBJ has previously performed in 18 US States in the Company’s 32-year history, but these performances mark the first time CBJ has performed in Utah, Colorado and Idaho.

Although there are numerous shows, movies and musicals made after L.M. Montgomery’s book, this will be the first time Anne of Green Gables has been adapted into a full-length ballet and CBJ is the only company to be authorized and intrusted to do this.

“As a company dedicated to telling Canadian stories we are immensely proud to bring this most Canadian of all stories to life as a full-length ballet. We are particularly pleased to share young Anne Shirley from Canada beyond our borders and into communities across the United States.” – Bengt Jörgen, C.M., Artistic Director & CEO

CBJ will be returning to the US in the spring of 2020 with performances currently scheduled in communities across Kansas.

“Tonight’s performance was nothing short of spectacular; absolutely loved it!”

– Halifax, NS Performance Attendee
