Anna Neudorf was born in Abbotsford, B.C, Canada and began her ballet
training at age 9 at Fraser Valley Academy of Dance. She then attended a summer
at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School on scholarship before attending Canada’s
National Ballet School in their full-time Professional Ballet Program at age 13.
Throughout her time at the National Ballet School, she trained directly
under Mavis Staines and worked with choreographers such as James Kudelka,
Jera Wolfe and Robert Binet. She also attended summer exchange training at
both Pole Nationale Superieur de Danse Rosella Hightower and The Royal Ballet
School.
Upon her graduation in 2023, Anna joined NBS’ Company Life Program,
meanwhile receiving short term contracts with the National Ballet of Canada for
programs such as Suite en Blanc, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and The
Nutcracker. She also got the opportunity to perform at the Future of Dance Gala
during the Holland Dance Festival 2024 in Den Haag, The Netherlands.
She then went on to begin her professional career at Orlando Ballet,
dancing in their second company (OBII) for two seasons – during which time she
danced consistently in main company productions. Her company repertoire
includes Swan Lake, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Peter Pan, and more.
Anna’s highlights include performing the Columbina Doll solo in The Nutcracker
and performing Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15.
Anna is excited to begin a chapter at Ballet Jorgen in their Junior
Company, eager to work hard and further explore and refine her craft.
