Claudia Einarson

Junior Company Member

Claudia is a 21-year-old dancer originally from Kingston, Ontario. Growing up, she discovered her love for dance and choreography at Rhythm Dance Center by competing and teaching in ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, hiphop, tap, and musical theatre. She attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) Summer Intensive in July 2023, where she was accepted into the professional division. Upon graduating from the school in June 2025, she returned to continue her training in the Anna McCowan-Johnson (AMJ) Aspirant Program.

While being in the AMJ program, Claudia gained valuable professional experience by performing with the RWB company for Hansel and Gretel, Nutcracker, and Christopher Stowell’s Sleeping Beauty. During her time in the school, Claudia was fortunate to perform excerpts of classical roles and variations from ballets such as Études, Swan Lake, Raymonda, Paquita, La Bayadère, and La Sylphide, as well as Christopher Stowell’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Along with these, Claudia had the opportunity to perform a neoclassical piece choreographed by Melvin Lawovi, a Spanish dance choreographed by Maritel Centurion, and contemporary works choreographed by Gabriela Rehak, dancers from the company and school, and herself.

Claudia has been the recipient of the RWB Alumni Scholarship, and when she participated in the annual in-house student choreography competition, she was awarded the RWB School Award in 2023, and First Place in 2023 and 2024. Her choreography has been showcased in professional division contemporary repertoire, as well as being performed at the Encuentrode Escuelas de Danza in Mexico in January 2025. This past year, she was fortunate to create a contemporary solo for the AMJ On The Edge tour.

With a burning passion for dance, Claudia can’t wait to return to Ballet Jörgen to continue defining technique and growing as an artist.
