Derick “XclusiV” Robinson is a soulful, experienced and unique individual who doesn’t fear exploring creativity and innovation as a dancer, teacher and mentor. His distinct style is anything but ordinary, his ability to think outside the box is what truly makes him an addition to the dance community. With over 20 years of experience, Derick is a seasoned educator and performer with extensive knowledge of the commercial industry. A few of his credits include performing with Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Nelly Furtado, Jully Black and Janelle Monae. While also appearing in films such as Trap, Sneakerella, Full Out and the Salt N Pepa biopic. After dancing for the Toronto Raptors North Side Crew for 5 years, he has now transitioned into the role of assistant choreographer for the crew. Derick has had the opportunity of performing and teaching all over the world, including being casted for the Monsters of Hip-Hop finale showcase in Los Angeles, touring Europe with Nelly Furtado, and spending a month in Italy teaching across the country.
He knows what it takes to not only get hired, but get rehired as well! He is dedicated to helping his students be the absolute best version of themselves both on and off the stage. Excited to continue his journey with dance; Derick is eager, enthusiastic and strives to bring something new and different to this world.
