I am a 23-year-old Japanese dancer. I trained at Yuriko Ballet Studio from the age of 4 to 15, winning first prize in more than five national ballet competitions in Japan.
At 15, I moved to Germany to study at Alen Bottaini Academy under Alen Bottaini and Lisa-Maree Cullum, graduating with Distinction.
At 18, I joined Junior Ballet Antwerp, where I performed leading roles in nearly every production, including the title role in the world premiere of Cinderella and a soloist role in David Dawson’s Metamorphosis.
At 21, I joined Milwaukee Ballet II and soon began performing in productions with Milwaukee Ballet’s main company. I danced the principal role in When Silence Cries by Eric Figueredo, performed several soloist roles, and was also invited by Milwaukee Ballet School as a guest artist to perform the role of Swanhilda in Coppélia.
I especially enjoy collaborating with choreographers and being part of the creative process. Through ballet, my goal is to continue sharing artistry and meaningful experiences with audiences.
