120 – In to Cou-de-pied from Fifth, and Petit retiré

This lesson focuses on the transfer of weight from two feet in to and out of a Cou-de-pied and back to two feet – a movement which is called Petit retiré. This movement is an essential building block for many ballet steps including Pirouettes from fifth position.
