This lesson focuses on combining body facings, arms, heads, and Tendus in the centre. Also, this lesson introduces the term of Allongé – a lengthening through the body into the arms and legs.
You will learn how to coordinate these elements and approach your technique comprehensively in centre work i.e., without holding on to a barre.
In this lesson you will learn:
- To combine previously learned basic elements into your centre work
- The concept of Allongé
- To make sure you start and end the Port de bras with head and leg movement simultaneously while in the centre
- To keep the entire body anchored using the engagement of energy up and down to dance without a barre
