Ballet Practice Class – Fundamentals 1-10

Level: Foundation I &II | Duration: 70 minutes | Equipment required: barre or heavy chair or countertop, space for floor work including jumps, water bottle.

This Class Practice combines all the skills that are taught in the Fundamentals Sessions 1 to 10 into one single class. Hannah Mae Cruddas teaches each exercise in this practice class with barre and centre work for you to follow along at home. Ana Zamora works on every exercise with you.

We recommend you do lesson 145 first to warm up for your practice. The Long Form version contains both instruction and practice. The shorter form version is for practice only once you understand the moves fully.

In this lesson you will practice:

  • Barre work; including Pliés, Tendus, Glissés with Glissades, Rond de jambe, Fondu, Petit développé and Retiré, Adagio, Grand battement and a Stretch
  • Centre work; including Port de bras, Tendus, Glissés, Preparation for Pirouettes, Adagio, Sautés, Walks and Gallops

Requirements: Water Bottle, Beginning with the warmup found in Lesson 145 is strongly encouraged & using some cool down elements that you have used throughout Fundamentals 1-10. Additionally, a barre, heavy chair or countertop, and space for floor work that includes jumps.
