The five lessons in Ballet Technique Fundamentals 4 will build upon the learnings from the preceding units in the Fundamentals series.
After completing this unit you will know:
- using the feet and legs in the Cou-de-pied
- Cou-de-pied to the side and the technique necessary for walking in ballet
- introduction to Chassé
- landing a jump
- Battement glissé (also known as Battement dégagé, Battement jeté, Dégagé en l’air, and Battement tendu jeté)
- the fundamentals of the Battement glissé and how to execute it in all directions – en croix, en dehors, or front, side, and back
- Changement de pieds and Échappé
How to get the most from this unit:
- Take your time with these lessons to ensure that you have fully mastered each technique
- Watch and dance along with each of the lessons in the unit at least 3 times
- Repeat the Fundamentals 4 Unit Practice at least 3-5 times
